FEEDBACK - FIRST CUT
Once I finished editing the first cut of my music video, I exported it and put it up on the TV. I did this so that I could watch it properly in a way that I couldn't on the computer monitor and also so that I could show my Dad and get some feedback from him.
The first thing that came to my attention when I watched it on the bigger screen was that the colours appeared so much more vibrant than they did on the computer screen. Whether this was because of the settings on the computer or just the different displays, I much preferred how it appeared on the TV screen.
Besides this, I also noticed when watching it back that the main song began very abruptly and needed to be faded in much slower in order to work in the way I wanted it to. This issue was also brought up by my Dad before I mentioned it and so I knew immediately that it was something that needed adjusting. After a while of fiddling with the audio and using my family as the audience, I managed to solve this issue and have the audio fade in the way I wanted.
Another thing that my Dad mentioned that I hadn't noticed was that, when the Devil dances, his chest area doesn't move with the rest of his body. Although this made me laugh when I realised it, it was also very frustrating because, although it took multiple viewings for us to notice, it was something that I couldn't help but notice everytime I watched it afterwards. Despite how annoying this was, I believed it wasn't obvious enough for me to need to change it especially considering the deadline that was fast approaching and the amount of difficulty it would have given me.
FEEDBACK -
WORDCLOUD
Once I completed the final cut of my animated music video, I began collecting feedback from my peers and the members of my family to find out how successful the video was at making them smile and also to see whether I needed to make any adjustments in order to improve it.
Just to get a rough idea of people's overall reaction to my music video, I sent a few people the link to my music video as well as a link to a word cloud I made on mentimeter that allowed them to enter their feedback. By doing this, I hoped to receive some brief words of feedback regarding the things they did and didn't like about my music video so that I could consider making adjustments depending on how often they were mentioned.

REACTION TO WORDCLOUD FEEDBACK
Although it may be unfair to rely on this word cloud to assess how successful my music video was, the majority of words shown makes the feedback seem generally more positive than negative which is a relief.
Some of the feedback that I got on the word cloud was very interesting and gave me an insight into how others found my music video and what they thought was good and bad about it. There are many words on there that I consider to be positive feedback such as interesting, funny, entertaining, captivating.
The majority of critical feedback focused on the duration of the music video which I found difficult to agree with because the short duration was something that I believed to be entirely necessary when considering the brief and the style of music video that I was making. I was also a little confused as to whether the word 'random' was simply an observation or a piece of critical feedback. When considering the events that take place I understand why they used this word but as feedback, it appears to simply be an observation.
Considering the critical feedback, I don't think I will be making any changes as a response as the duration is something that I don't think needs to be changed. However, if I am proved to be wrong about this, I will consider making adjustments.
